The Canteen

Our wonderful Canteen Supervisor Shelly, along with our fantastic volunteers, provide school lunches four days a week from our canteen in the Undercover Area.  Healthy and nutritious food is available to our students Tuesday to Friday each week, we are proud to be able to provide this service to our community, to our knowledge the Poseidon Primary Canteen is one of a small number that provides this onsite service!

Lunch Orders

Lunch orders are to be placed by 9:30am on our online platform, QuickCliq.

You can place an order for your child’s lunch, and/or recess items from the comfort of your home, while at work or out and about! You can also plan ahead and place orders in advance.  Make sure to register your child with QuickCliq and create their account.

Recess & Lunch Extras

Recess and lunch extras are encouraged to be pre-ordered online.  However cash sales will be accepted again at recess and after lunch.  The canteen does not have EFTPOS facilities.

Restricted Diets

If your child has a restricted diet, be it for health, religious or lifestyle reasons, we would like to know.

Updated information received from parents and carers regarding food allergies and anaphylaxis will be provided to the Canteen Supervisor and where appropriate the copy of anaphylaxis plan developed by our school.

Canteen Volunteering

As always, we rely on volunteers and all help is appreciated.  If you are able to lend a hand in the canteen, just pop in on the days we are open, from 10am.  If you are a dab hand at making pikelets, can help pack lunch bags or have a spare half an hour to help with food prep or washing dishes, we would love to see you!

Please make sure to wear closed in shoes and have long hair tied back.  Gloves and aprons will be available at the canteen.
