ANZAC Commemorative Service

We warmly invite all parents and community members to join us for our ANZAC commemorative service, Friday, 24th April at 8:50 AM in the undercover area. This special event will be led by our fabulous Year 6 students, who have been working hard to prepare a meaningful tribute.

We look forward to seeing you there as we come together to honour and remember the sacrifices made by our servicemen and women.

Tea, coffee and refreshments will be served from the staffroom after the service and all our invited guests, parents and community members are welcome to join the staff and student councillors.

Memorabilia

Do you have memorabilia or artefacts related to Anzac and the armed forces to create our display in the undercover area during the Anzac assembly? We appreciate both the financial and sentimental value often attached to such items and will take the appropriate measures to ensure their safety.  To help us in caring for these items please ensure they are clearly labelled or marked in some way so their return can be simplified.  If you are willing to share with the community please let the Front Office know by Wednesday 22 April.

Wall of Honour

As part of our ANZAC commemorations, we will be building a Wall of Honour.  If you would have family members, who have taken part in active service in any Defence Force from around the world to be honoured , please complete details using the "ANZAC wall brick template" and email to poseidon.ps@education.wa.edu.au

Alternatively you can email us the below details and we will complete the brick template on your behalf.

  1. Student Family Name,
  2. Full Name of family member in a defence force,
  3. Relationship to your child, and
  4. The campaign(s)

Please return to the office by email by Wednesday 22nd April

Note: If you have sent us an ANZAC brick in previous years, we still have a copy and will continue to use on our Wall of Honour.
