Parent Teacher Interviews on Semester 1 Reports

Parent meetings are scheduled for Tuesday 30th June, 2026, from 9 am to 3 pm on the day. This interview with your child’s teacher will be an adult conversation only and it is scheduled to discuss your child’s semester report only.

Poseidon Primary School will hold Semester 1 Parent–Teacher Interviews on Tuesday 30 June 2026.

With the approval of the Regional Director, Cheryl Townsend, the school day has been approved to be changed to a pupil‑free Parent Interview Day for this date.

This decision has also been endorsed by the Poseidon Primary School Board.

On this day, teachers will dedicate their time to meeting with parents and carers in 15‑minute interview appointments to discuss your child’s Semester 1 report, learning progress, and next steps. This will allow meaningful, uninterrupted conversations focused entirely on your child.

As this date was already scheduled as a Parent Interview Day, staff agreed that reallocating the entire day as a pupil‑free interview day would be the least disruptive option for students and families.

To support families who may be unable to make alternative care arrangements, Giggling Geckos OSHC has agreed to provide supervision on this day. Further details about bookings and availability will be shared directly with families closer to the date.

We strongly encourage all families to take advantage of this opportunity and book a time that suits. Your engagement and partnership are essential in supporting your child’s learning and wellbeing.

If you need to cancel or change a booking, please go back to the email you received when booking the timeslot and click on "Edit My Sign Up" to open the booking, then click on "Delete".

Timeslots are limited and other families could be waiting for a slot to open, so please make sure you cancel and unneeded bookings. The front office staff can also cancel your booking on 9233 8900 if you prefer.
