2027 Enrolments

WA public schools are open to all children from Kindergarten to Year 12. Find more information about enrolling at a public school. 

If a child will be:

• 4 years old by 30 June 2027, parents can enrol them in Kindergarten, which is a pre-compulsory year of education
• 5 years old by 30 June 2027, parents need to enrol them in Pre-primary, which is their first year of compulsory education

Please note that all students going into Pre-primary in 2027 will need to submit an application to enrolment form, even if they are currently enrolled in our Kindy.

Your willingness to share your experiences and speak so highly of our school plays an important role in positioning Poseidon as a school of choice, and on behalf of our staff members, we are incredibly grateful for your ongoing advocacy.

I would also like to remind families that enrolments for Kindergarten, PP and enrolments for Years 1–6 will close on Friday 24th July 2026. If you know of families considering Poseidon, encourage them to contact the school as soon as possible.

Finally, if your family will be leaving Poseidon Primary School at the end of this year, I kindly ask that you inform me at your earliest convenience. This information is extremely valuable in supporting our forward planning for 2027, particularly in developing class structures to best meet the needs of our students.
